The PRO-AR refers to a family of Level III-A armor in compliance with the ABNT NBR 15000 standard for motor vehicles, consisting of 3 items: PRO-AR8C, PRO-AR9C, and PRO-AR12C. These products feature surface waterproofing in black or natural (yellow) color, and each armor type has V50 velocities of 510, 520, and 550 m/s for 9mm FMJRN respectively.
The superior ballistic limit results (15 to 24% higher than the standard) come from the textile engineering used in the construction of fabrics with Para-Aramid fibers and the choice of engineering polymer used for bonding the fabric layers.
Our PRO-AR armor provides a robust barrier against projectiles and penetrating fragments, ensuring the safety of vehicle occupants in risky situations and the ability to withstand high levels of energy from ballistic impacts of up to 1416 Joules.
Aramid is highly resistant to tension, impact, and high temperatures without the need for maintenance. This means that the protection provided by the PRO-AR armor (sheet) from the PROTECTA group is durable, maintaining its exceptional performance over time.
